A 14-year old skateboarding prodigy has been touring the world with Tony Hawk. Young Brusco is the perfect example of doing what you love and loving what you do. His mother says he started off on a $10 skateboard she bought for him at the age of 3. Her young son was hooked from his first days on the board. He MUST be worth sticking a free bet on becoming World Champion one day!

"He was always on it, doing jumps, he started from that." Jen Brusco tells King5 news in an interview.

Brusco became the youngest person ever to drop into a 13-foot vertical ramp at only 6 years old. As a mother, my heart flutters a bit when I think of my own kids trying the same at such a tender age.

However, as a fellow skater, I feel so happy for him. Although I will never achieve the level of skill this kid has, I love skating just like he does and it gets me all pumped up to see him skate and do his tricks. I also like that he's a great role model for my own children ages 12, 10, 5 and 3.
